Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how VidAI collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website, create an account, purchase credits, upload media, submit prompts, generate videos, or contact support.

VidAI is designed as a commercial AI image-to-video service. Because the product depends on hosting, authentication, payment, storage, analytics, and model infrastructure providers, some information must be processed by carefully selected vendors to deliver the service.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account identifiers, support messages, billing metadata, prompts, uploaded images, and generated outputs associated with your account.

We also collect technical and usage information needed to operate the product, including browser type, IP address, device information, pages viewed, generation requests, error logs, and timestamps related to billing and security events.

  • Account and identity data, including sign-in information handled through our authentication provider.
  • Transaction and billing records needed to complete purchases, prevent fraud, and reconcile credits.
  • User content, including prompts, uploaded source files, generated videos, and related metadata such as duration, model, and status.
  • Operational telemetry, such as logs, abuse signals, and basic analytics that help us secure and improve the service.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to provide the requested service, authenticate users, process purchases, allocate credits, detect abuse, investigate failed generations, answer support requests, maintain product performance, and comply with legal obligations.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified usage information to understand which features are being used, improve reliability, and plan product changes. We do not sell personal information in the ordinary course of operating VidAI.

Payments, Fraud Screening, and Merchant-of-Record Processing

Checkout, payment collection, and certain compliance checks may be handled by Creem as our merchant of record. Creem and its downstream payment partners may collect payment method details, transaction data, fraud signals, and information required to review merchants, customers, or transactions.

VidAI does not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on its own servers. We receive limited billing information such as product, status, timestamps, customer IDs, and webhook events needed to provision credits, support customers, and maintain accounting records.

Uploads, Prompts, and Generated Content

When you upload an image or submit a prompt, that content is processed so the generation request can be completed. This may require temporary or ongoing processing by storage, hosting, and third-party AI model providers acting on our instructions or under their own service terms.

You should only upload content you are authorized to use and should avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal data in prompts or source media. We may retain generation history associated with your account to provide downloads, troubleshoot failures, review abuse, and maintain transaction records.

When We Share Information

We share information only when reasonably necessary to operate VidAI, comply with the law, enforce our policies, or protect users and the public. Service providers may process information for hosting, storage, analytics, identity verification, support tooling, email delivery, and payment operations.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.

Cookies and Analytics

VidAI may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, prevent abuse, and understand how visitors use the site.

Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies, but some features may stop working correctly if essential cookies are disabled.

Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, preserve account history, respond to disputes, prevent fraud, comply with tax and accounting obligations, and enforce our agreements.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your Choices and Requests

You may review certain account information from your account, request support regarding billing or privacy, and ask questions about deletion or access where applicable. Some records may need to be retained for fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, or legitimate business purposes even after account closure.

  • Use the billing portal or support email for purchase and account questions.
  • Contact us if you believe content associated with your account was processed in error.
  • Do not send highly sensitive personal information over ordinary support email unless it is necessary for your request.

International Processing

VidAI and its service providers may process information in multiple countries depending on where our infrastructure and vendors operate. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection rules than your home country.
